We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our small friendly team.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing secretarial and admin support to the Director and Team
- Helping seniors with the following tasks:
- Basic bookkeeping work
- VAT return preparation and submission
- Payroll preparation and submission
- Individual self-assessment preparation and submission
- Financial statements preparation and submission
- Corporation tax return preparation and submission
- Updating and maintaining client database
- Other ad hoc work
Candidate Requirement:
- Ideal candidate must be studying towards AAT/ACCA/ACA qualification
- Candidate should be IT literate in Outlook, Word & Excel (additional accounting packages beneficial such as Sage)
- Excellent English language skills (written & spoken)
- Attention to detail & ability to prioritise work
- Willingness to learn
- Flexibility & adaptability
Work Experience:
- Some admin & accountancy work experience is desirable but not essential.
Career progression:
When in the role there will be a chance of progression which will then allow you to take on an increased number of responsibilities within the firm.
Salary:
Negotiable (depend on experience and skills)
